For years I lived with the belief that drugs would not affect my child. I had a false reality. “Those hard drugs” weren’t in our area, were they? Then, it began happening to our family. We tried to save my daughter for 7 years. Our daughter, Ashley, died on Christmas Eve of 2013.

I founded Light of Hope 501(c)(3) non-profit so that no one would ever have to be alone in the struggle. Don’t face the difficulties of life by yourself. Education, support, and love are the tools necessary to walk through the difficult days. My heart yearns to make a difference in our community. We are here to provide whatever we can, to those who need help; including families, children, and individuals.

One of our greatest missions is to focus on educating and equipping our children on how to handle the reality of what they face in this world today. Drug education and prevention are critical to the future of our children. Light of Hope is providing school drug education and prevention courses in the Elementary, Middle and High Schools. We also provide powerful assemblies to any grade level.

In an exclusive partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.), Light of Hope provides current, powerful and effective education to the schools - free of charge. Each school district can personalize our LOH/DEA school drug education to fit their individual school needs.

Light of Hope has made it a priority to educate & equip the children. The budget cuts have taken the more detailed drug education out of the schools. It is time to bring this important piece of education back into our schools.

We are so grateful for the community support. We cannot do any of these things without you. As we continue to work with each school district, we ask for your prayers, encouragement, and help. We rely solely on donations. We are only able to provide the funding for this school education, through your community donations.

I encourage you to call or email me with any questions, or if you would like to meet for more information. 918-373-4560 /

Neither myself nor any of my Board Members receive any type of pay or compensation for what we do. We do what we do because we each have a purpose and a passion to help our community.

Please consider donating to our cause. We need your help to make a difference in our children, in our future. Thank you so much for your consideration. Please share this information and our cause with as many people as you can. May God continue to guide our hearts and show us the ways in which we can share His love with our community. Together, we are helping people see the hope.
